A grand success!!! A big THANK-YOU to our volunteers who played a key role in making this year’s Eco Gift Wrapping program such a success this holiday season. We accomplished so much… together we:
- wrapped almost 2,000 packages
- saved many, many trees
- diverted much waste from landfill
- inspired and educated the public regarding waste reduction and
- helped TGC continue to deliver its many valuable environmental programs by raising more than $17,000, making this year by far our most successful
We would also like to acknowledge the support of our partners at our three locations:
Mountain Equipment Coop, Yonge Eglinton Centre, Dufferin Mall
And of course we can’t forget to thank all the shoppers who came to our booths have their purchases eco-wrapped.
We appreciate everyone’s contribution in making the 2011 holiday season a little bit greener!
