Getting to Know the Building

We begin with a site visit and conduct visual audits. Here we meet with management and staff and compile general information on the composition of the building's tenants; number of families, number of children and the languages spoken. Knowing the building helps us customize an appropriate program tailored to your specific needs.

Before the introduction of the Apartment Greening Program we conduct an audit of the building's current recycling program. This allows us to create a customized program specific to your needs.

Here we outline a program specific to your building. We work with management and staff and make recommendations to ensure a successful recycling program.

A highly visible promotion in the lobby of your building. We introduce ourselves and engage the tenants by providing  information, conducting surveys and handing out educational materials. We also conduct door-to-door visits. This is a personal visit to each tenant to educate them about recycling program in your building.

We conduct a final audit.  The audit outlines the reduction in waste and increase in recycling.

We provide you with a final report that outlines the entire recycling program in your building and make recommendations for continued success of higher recycling and lower waste rates.

In an effort to ensure your building maintains a high recycling rate, we conduct ongoing monitoring over the period of a year. During this time we engage with new tenants and work with existing tenants to ensure recycling rates continue to deliver savings.
